Job Openings at RCG- Relationship Manager/Inside Sales
RCG is looking for someone to assist in managing our existing client base (which is 20,000 strong) and help breathe additional life into them. Learn what drives these companies and find new ways we can work together, basically make some new friends.
If you are…
- A Gardener- or someone that likes to nurture things and watch them grow. We are not talking about plants here, we need someone that wants to grow relationships and build a strong root system for our RCG client base.
- A Motivator- or someone that wants to help create the position and manage their own day. Hand holders need not apply!
- A Networker –or you like to see and be seen. You love a room full of friends and enjoy meeting new people to expand your network.
… Then you may be the right person; we only want a rock star grower so don’t apply if you are even a little weak.
So what will you do all day?
The Relationship Manager will be the person that digs into the current client base and works to create deep meaningful relationships with RCG clients. This does not mean taking clients out to lunch every day, but more looking for new life in an account that others may have missed. You will spend about 70% of your time inside our beautiful office reaching out to clients and about 30% of your time visiting them to discover their needs. You won’t be chained to your desk so we ask that you are diligent with updating clients in RQ (our Client Management Software).
The extra stuff:
Since you will be spending some time on the phone we would like to see some previous calling experience to more than just your mother. As we all know when you leave a voicemail most of times you won’t get a call back, so follow up skills are a must. Also RCG has a lot to offer in the telecom world and a telecom background is preferred and will make your life easier too. Wireless or Wireline –we’re not picky.

What in the heck does EVP stand for?
EVP is a solution suite of RCG and stands for the Employee Value Program. This group was created in 2003 to help individuals of qualified organizations get discounted cellular service. We work with our favorite HR’s across the country to help promote the employee discount and directly with the employee to get their new accounts established. Our clients call in from across the country so phone skills are super handy for our department.

We’d like for you to have a college degree and some prior sales experience is preferred (no Girl Scout cookies don’t count). This position involves you on the phone most of the day talking to awesome clients and making them feel good about their purchase. RCG uses a handy CRM tool called RQ and we live and die by this software. You will learn to love it just as much as we do. Lastly the EVP team is a tight knit group and we are quite friendly, so share your thoughts, feelings and dreams with us. No really, we like to help you make it happen.
